[quote="Juerg FaCT"]When typing too fast the lactate build up in your arms. Breath through your nose and slow the typing down by 5%, I find this helps.
hmmm Mark I am not sure , but it seems you are wrong. Rob just published on the FaCT Forum a research ( based on 1 case) , where Dr. Coggan states, that changing RPM from 70 - 120 does not have any effect on the workout. So whether I typ every few seconds one letter or 120 / sec ( never will be able ) it does not matter on my metabolic involvement as it seems.
If I go 100 watt and try to pedal 60 or 140 RPM it is still 100 watt and has no training effect on power or what ever. The HR you can neglect , as your goal is 100 watt. The change in metabolic reactions you can negelect as well as it is still 100 watts. So no problem here to have a too high lactate and even if I should be high in lactate it is a great energy source to keep coming back.
Now even more interesting if I do the 70 RPM and 120 RPM on the FTP ?
See possible outcome on your Forum , should Rob take the discussion from the FaCT Forum over to the club forum. Cheers and thanks , it is nice to have ggod freinds all over , who care about my health.
