[quote="marco"]you riding for In-Gear now?????
Nice one if you are.
In a nutshell Marco... yes. Although as your only too aware, nothing in cycling is ever straight forward! So you will undoubtedly see me in yet more white kit quite soon...
I have reached half time in my training week, after 6 days of back to back training I finally get a proper day off the bike! Although I may well still cycle into Kingston tomorow! Today saw just an hour spent on the rollers, doing some crazy speed work. Well, leg speed anyway. Basically it consisted of warming up, 30seconds in the big ring at 25mph, 3mins rest... x10, then warm down. Lovely, had Liege-Bastogne-Liege on in the background as a distraction (a prize from the ACC RR champs

). So, easy really, it's not rocket science!
The funny thing is yesterday I felt rough, run down, like I was getting sick. Then I ended up having more than my fair share of a bottle of Valpolicella in the evening, after a token pint of Guiness about an hour prior to, then this morning I was back to my usual self! Love it, I guess there is some truth in the iron/anti-oxidants tales.
The downside to a day off, I really need to spend it all doing coursework and dissertation stuff for uni. What is it about clouds and silver linings, whoever came up with that one!?
Will see you all on Saturday anyway for the CR, funnily enough my coach says I gotta ride at around 130bpm... Guess I'll have to leave it to all the others to do the work for once
