I’m fat, old and slow…

I know all this training business makes us sound a bit serious but, well, some people really are into this bike lark so feel free to talk about all training & self improvement related topics in here

Important to make the distinction here though sean - I'm not overweight, but i do have too a high a fat % given my weight/size. It was strange being told I have too much body fat when I was wearing a pair of 28" waist trousers :D

You fat boys are letting the side down. I was tested a few weeks ago at the diagnostics clinic in London and my body fat percentage came out as 12.5%. Must be my healthy diet combined with my ability to avoid stopping off at cafes every five mins for coffee and cakes. :D

Cheers

Huw,

Are you not going to post all of the raw data for your test?

Yeh but in a road race 6 of him would still have less fat than you on your own, and I bet they would team up against you for the win

Not if I sat on their wheel-bags in the car and crushed them with my elephantine 65kg (I'm down 1kg since the test) :D

If you shake his hand before the start though you'll end up with too many cuts to be able to race

So you're very light, you ride a weight-weeny bike, but you're still slow? Why so? ah, yes, I nearly forgot - you're old.

It's the sad truth - the weight I can manage, the age is somewhat harder to reduce :D
