Virtual Time Trial – 9th February
Our second outing to the 2015 UCI Worlds Course in Richmond, Virginia. 16.2km in length with 142m of climbing.
Simon Pontin led the scratch positions although Marek Siwicki who also rode was ahead in the Zwift results. (Marek’s time did not record on Strava so is missing from these results – more on this later).
Once again, it was Del Cobb who led in the age adjusted Vets category by coming in 2 minutes 23 seconds ahead of the standard – well done!
The most improved riders this week were myself followed in second place by Tom McCallum who shaved 1 minute 19 seconds off his time last week – Chapeau!
Alyson Whyatt was our ladies representative!
We were missing times for Mark Locke , David Hughes and Marek Siwicki as for some reason they did not record on Strava. With the recent introduction of Zwift results, we are going to move to using these timings for future Virtual TTs. Watch out for a post from Del Cobb in the next few days with more details.
