ACC Open 25 - Helpers Needed - 17 April

Postby Jonathan » Wed Feb 24, 2016 2:53 pm

The ACC Open 25 Time Trial is taking place on 17th April with the first rider off at 6:30 am. We are running the event on the G24/54 course (Crawley/ Horesham area).

We need at least 17 volunteers from Addiscome in order to marshal this event. HQ will be at Broadbridge Heath Village hall and you will need to be there by 5:45am for a 6:00am briefing. Everything should be finished 9/9:30.

If you can spare a few hours on a Sunday morning let me know (either here or FB or email me on jonathanpontin@hotmail.co.uk or text on 07732674317).

Below is the list of marshaling positions that we need to fill so if you have a preference let me know and I will attempt to accommodate.

Canteen please. We'll be needing two more though if we're in the same place as last year then we can get away with one more.

Really sorry but I am away on that day so can't help. I am always happy to Marshall (or do anything else needed ie. help with Canteen) any time that I am around. Do you need cakes as I can still provide those if necessary?

Cheers, Sue. I'll be doing my usual offerings - flapjack, banana bread and sponge.

Also, thought I'd better mention that I'll be needing a lift out there, if someone would be so kind. I'm afraid that I'll need to be there from the start - there's always someone wanting tea before I've even got through the door...

Hello,

Could anyone help me with a lift out there? I'm in Hackbridge. I will have a box of stuff for the canteen as well as the all important cake and BANANA BREAD.

Cheers.

All marshals should now have recieved an email detailing the plan for the day, if not see the text below

First of all, thanks very much for helping out. Without people like you there would be no grass roots cycling.
My phone number: 07732674317
I have allocated people roles/duties, if you wish to swap amongst yourselves please agree between each other and then inform me. On the day other circumstances may dictate that you will have to carry out a different role so please can everyone make sure that they bring warm/waterproof clothing with them, anyone has the potential to be required to stand on a roundabout for 2 hours.

Chocolate Brownies are baked and in the freezer - I will do something else tomorrow. Who should I deliver them to and when? I am away on Friday for the weekend so ideally Thursday evening to someone who can keep them in the freezer and get them out maybe Saturday evening? :?:
