Lack of consistency I would say. We started the Wednesday night in January when it is dark and cold and not everbody's cup of tea. Last year we kept it going well into June if I remember. By that time it would frequently include riders from Norwood Paragon and Redhill. It died a quite natural death when mid-week racing was going full swing. This year it just seems to have stopped.

If people want to make it a regular thing (which I agree would be good), it needs to be just that, REGULAR AND REGULATED. Then you may attract others from other clubs who fancy a fast few miles on a summer's evening.

Can be difficult to keep going through the summer with Dunsfold & Palace on Tues, h/cap's on Thurs, but would be interested in Thurs evenings when no 'local' h/cap's. Wed's maybe too much, three evenings of hard rides

Well that was definitely a freebie.
The pace seemed alot slower than the Tuesday night chain gangs I did last month.
I enjoyed the training and riding in a group though but I need to race now to get some practise.

Not sure how but I managed to drop everyone going over Pol Hill.
Couldn't believe my eyes when I turned round to see who was coming round to take their turn at the front when noone was there.

19s is harder than that. Roll on Saturday.
